SOVEREIGN-6G delivers the first 6G Telco Cloud in Europe, which will serve as the foundation of future-looking Digital Services aggregated and exposed by a groundbreaking Unified Service Platform. To this end, an evolable experimentation infrastructure is delivered, that integrates 6G sites from all over Europe and serves as a playground to test 6G breakthrough technologies for the future telco cloud. A Digital Service Orchestrator is also delivered, to provide SLA assurance over a dynamic compositioning of heterogeneous resources (e.g., compute, network, GPU) in this hybrid, multi-technology Telco Cloud Continuum environment. SOVEREIGN-6G is structured around 3 pillars: Pillar 1 is Delivering a new Unified Service Platform, as a Digital Service Aggregator envisioned to operate in increasingly complex ecosystems involving multiple stakeholders; Pillar 2 involves integrating IT, OT and NT platforms in an telco cloud continuum, alongside breakthrough 6G enablers; and Pillar 3 delivers a Native AI edge, addressing distributed inference, sovereign Edge AI workloads acceleration, and physical awareness via multi-modal sensing.

SYNTACTIC will deliver a European “one-stop-shop” platform that makes synthetic data reliable, compliant, and fit-for-purpose across sensitive, data-scarce domains. Τhe platform integrates five coherent toolboxes over a FAIR-by design lifecycle: (i) Synthetic Data Generation with multi-modal, privacy-preserving GenAI, digital-twin augmentation, model unlearning, robustness and explainability; (ii) Regulatory Auditing & Management providing automated checks against GDPR, the AI Act and the Data Act, legal-to-technical translation, and auditable DPIA/FRIA workflows; (iii) Data Lifecycle Management with provenance, curation, versioning, annotation and benchmarking against real-world data; (iv) Cybersecurity enforcing zero-trust, threat intelligence and DevSecOps; (v) an Interoperability Gateway that connects securely and semantically to European Data Spaces and relevant initiatives (e.g., Regulatory Sandboxes, AI-on-Demand); and (vi) a dedicated Knowledge Hub providing guided workflows, training modules and best practices, boosting AI literacy and compliance awareness among European SMEs and professionals. SYNTACTIC will be designed, integrated and continuously in an agile methodology, validated through six pilots spanning telecommunications, maritime, Green Deal/industry compliance, finance, aerospace (IRIS²) and healthcare.

CELESTE aims to develop a holistic framework to address the problem of resource orchestration in 3D networks, delivering efficient and resilient algorithm designs and solution  outcomes, while explicitly accounting for system uncertainties. To this end, CELESTE targets three key dimensions: (a) modeling stochastic and time-varying uncertainties in 3D networks; (b) designing efficient distributed resource orchestration algorithms that remain resilient despite incomplete and imperfect information at distributed network entities; and (c) identifying efficient and resilient operating points for the large-scale distributed networks under various types of uncertainties. The CELESTE framework will integrate theoretical foundations (e.g., stochastic game theory), distributed learning techniques (e.g., reinforcement learning, no-regret learning), and resilient solution concepts (e.g., correlated equilibria) to holistically address joint radio and computing resource orchestration in 3D networks. This integrated approach aimes to conclude uncertainty-aware solutions that are both realistic and computationally-efficient. Representative 6G use case scenarios will be considered for the performance evaluation and validation of the proposed framework.

Tourism is vital to the Mediterranean economy, yet small and medium-sized enterprises in this sector are highly vulnerable to crises such as pandemics, natural disasters, and political instability. ReTour supports the transformation of Mediterranean tourism by equipping local businesses with advanced technologies – such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and smart sensors – and sustainable practices. With partners from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon and Türkiye, the ReTour project will help over 150 businesses improve efficiency, crisis preparedness, and sustainability. It aims to ensure the sector can thrive even in uncertain times, securing jobs and enhancing the tourism experience for all.

Unified Modeling and Automated Scheduling for Manufacturing as a Service (UniMaaS) project will develop a platform with a set of advanced technologies for offering flexible and decentralized manufacturing resources and supply chains as a Service to European SMEs and Industries. To realize this vision, the proposed platform will deploy 3 integrated Suites: (i) Data Modelling Suite: offering manufacturing dataspaces, cloud-based resource monitoring, trusted cross-company data exchange and digital product passport, (ii) Modelling Suite: offering modular modeling of manufacturing resources, intent-based servitization , AI-based estimations and Zero-X analysis, and (iii) Decision-Making Suite: offering scheduling and planning of manufacturing resources, circularity and sustainability optimization. The platform will adopt advanced digital technologies such as cloud computing, digital twins and trustworthy AI, as key enablers towards fulfilling its objectives. UniMaaS platform will provide easy access to customized manufacturing service chain and will support the entire life-cycle management of processes and products. The UniMaaS Suites and the Platform will be demonstrated in 4 Pilots including aircraft maintenance, automotive seating, 3D construction printing and logistics/warehouse management.

6G-LEADER aims at evolving the PHY and RAN aspects of 6G communication networks by relying on the following pillars: 1) MLempowered PHY algorithms with predictive capabilities towards fully autonomous operation; 2) full-duplex transceivers employing novel sparse antenna arrays and advanced digital self-interference cancellation; 3) non-orthogonal and random multiple access schemes to accommodate mass connectivity demands of users and machines; 4) goal-oriented semantic communications; and 5) an open and disaggregated RAN implementation with xApps integrating the advancements, achieved during the project’s lifetime.

FUSION aims to provide a holistic observability and analytics framework for fusing different signals (metrics, traces, logs) coming from the operation of distributed applications (deployed across the compute continuum including heterogeneous observed resources) or network functions/services when deployed and managed over virtualized 6G infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes-based), allowing efficient collection and analysis of heterogeneous data and enabling the broadcasting of the results via open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Leveraging and integrating existing telemetry mechanisms and data collection methods (e.g., OpenTelemetry support), heterogeneous observability signals from diverse resources will be embedded in a common space towards knowledge construction via data fusion. Various analytics pipelines will be applied over the fused information, including ones based on machine learning (ML) techniques, facilitating the identification of hidden patterns in the data, understanding the end-to-end flow characteristics affecting and determining application performance in the continuum, and assisting decision making in orchestration mechanisms. The devised FUSION platform extension will use the Norwegian facility of the IMAGINE-B5G project to integrate its software solution with the overall project architecture.

Hexa-X-II is a flagship European 6G project, with the ambition of designing a holistic 6G network platform and system towards achieving sustainability, trustworthiness, green deal efficiency, and digital inclusion, while inspiring the world for digital transformation through novel 6G services. Hexa-X-II will work, beyond enabler-oriented research, to optimized systemization, early validation, and proof-of-concept; work will progress from the 6G key enablers that connect the human, physical, and digital worlds, as explored in Hexa-X, to advanced technology readiness levels, including key aspects of modules / protocols / interfaces / data. Hexa-X II includes: (a) the provision of advanced / refined use cases, services, and requirements, ensuring value for society; (b) the delivery of the 6G platform blueprint, which will encompass enhanced connectivity for 6G services, mechanisms realizing the “networks beyond communications” vision (sensing, computing, trustworthy AI), efficient network management schemes; (c) the realization of extended validation at system and component level; (d) actions for global impact, while assuring strategic autonomy in critical areas for the EU.

The 6Green project aims to conceive, design, and realize an innovative service-based and holistic ecosystem, able to extend “the communication infrastructure into a sustainable, interconnected, greener end-to-end intercompute system” and promote energy efficiency across the whole 5/6G value-chain. The ultimate objective is to enable and to foster 5/6G networks and vertical applications reducing their carbon footprint by a factor of 10 or more. To achieve this objective, the project will exploit and extend state-of-the-art cloud-native technologies and the B5G Service-Based Architecture with new cross-domain enablers. 6Green will provide stakeholders with flexible and green Artificial Intelligence mechanisms that will allow propagating the environment impact to any players acting on virtual domains, and triggering zero-touch operations according to customizable energy- and carbon-aware policies, allowing to optimally use renewable energy sources. The project will deliver three future-proof use-case applications that will provide a diverse awareness of the green capabilities of the 6Green platform.

DiMAT will develop Open Digital Tools with a set of advanced technologies for offering European SMEs and Mid-Caps an affordable (in terms of cost, implementation and usability) full modelling, simulation and optimisation system in each stage of the material value chain (design, processing and manufacturing) for improving quality, sustainability, effectiveness, and competitiveness of materials. DiMAT will deploy 3 integrated Suites: 1) DiMAT Data and Assessment Suite: digital technologies for storing, sharing, representing and assessing materials data; 2) DiMAT DiMAT Modelling and Design Suite: digital technologies for material design, in terms of their internal structure, properties and performance, in order to predict the material behaviour before manufacturing; 3) DiMAT Simulation and Optimisation Suite: digital technologies for creating efficient materials manufacturing simulation processes and determining the behaviour of the material mechanical characterization models to be used in the AI training and prediction. The DiMAT Suites will be demonstrated in 4 Pilots of European designers and producers of different materials: textile, composite, glass and graphite.
