The creative industries refer to a range of economic activities which are concerned with the generation or exploitation of knowledge and information. Besides advertising and marketing, culture (e.g., museums), video production and publishing, education also forms part of the creative industries. With the proliferation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), including the convergence of internet, computing, and big data manipulation, novel opportunities arise for automating contemporary processes and improving output quality and productivity growth. Our research focuses on the design, adoption and application of enhanced ICT tools and optimization techniques, for offering creative and automated solutions to different media production, different types of learning/education modes and environments, towards improving the final product delivery and the user Quality of Experience.
