Hello,
I have finally made it! I got my Phd. in May of 2006!
I have (to a limited extend, of course) reached the achievements of my predecessors in the Network Management and Optimal Design Laboratory (NETMODE)!

Previously I had gotten my diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in October of 1996
I have also been a research associate and, for some time, one of the UNIX system administrators in this Lab.

Some of my main Research interests include:

• System and Network Security. Especially Intrusion Detection Systems.
• SNMP and MIB design.
• UNIX system administration.
• Networking Technologies (but first take a look at the 12 Networking Truths - RFC 1925!)

• Russian Language and Literature.
• Astronomy and Spaceflight
• Sailing.
